Thornburg Mortgage Announcement:
On May 1, 2009, Thornburg Mortgage, Inc. filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection to commence an orderly sale and liquidation of our remaining assets in order to maximize any remaining value for our bondholders and creditors. Once these sales and liquidations are completed, we will discontinue operations.

We do not expect to file our Annual Report on Form 10-K for the year ended December 31, 2008. As a result of not filing our 10-K, we are not "current" in our public information for purposes of Rule 144.

ADFITECH, Inc., the Company's quality control services subsidiary, continues to operate its business and provide services to its customers while efforts are undertaken to sell its business operations as a going concern. The Company is working expeditiously with its advisors to sell ADFITECH, Inc. for the benefit of the Company's creditors.
